Bedrest di rumah pasca keluar dari rumah sakit praktis membuat saya tak punya banyak pilihan aktifitas. Tidur, makan, ngecek socmed, dan nonton tv. Gitu aja terus.
You Can Do From Your Smartphone”
So..Today’s blog dives into making money as a small/medium-sized blogger. I list 4 ways you can make money with your own blog!
I received a Happy Anniversary greeting from WordPress acknowledging my 4 years of blogging with them. Time has a way of flying by, doesn’t it?
Now, since it took me off guard, I didn’t have time to write an acceptance speech. But I want to begin by thanking WordPress who made it all possible. Without them, where would I be?
Next, I want to thank my readers especially those who have become my blogging friends over the years. Kisses to you all!
I’m running out of time, I know… there are so many of you to mention.
I remember 4 years ago wanting to blog but not having a niche. Many of my blogging friends wrote about their books, kids, quilts, photography, lessons, travels and other magical topics. I just wanted to write.
So, here I am four years later. Will I still be writing four years from now? Of course YES.
What I love most about blogging is looking back over the years to see what I wrote. Like a journal, it gives me a glimpse of where I was at that point in time.
Warm regards and thanks for a great 4 years.
Wow, before I even realized… Almost 8 years since I started blogging! Here’s what I learned from 8 years of blogging.
So…In March 2012 I started this WordPress blog. However, this was not my first blog, that goes back another 8 years I created my first blog in 2008 using Blogspot. FYI this site is no longer available. Back to my WordPress blog…this blog feels like a major part of my life. I’m definitely finding it more addictive now because there is a network around the blog as well.
My goal is to have a place where I can capture and express my thoughts and feelings: a place where I can direct particular people to read what I have to say, respond, and hopefully dialog. Its about meaning and sharing meaning with those who care… or, yes, who I want to care. I started with the idea of building a load of content fast and when I saw what people actually read and liked,I realized the content of the blog was what important.
Wow I never thought you would ask me. So this post is just to answer some of the many questions that come to me. Thank you guys, and even though it’s going to take me ages and just because you’re awesome.Continue reading “Q & A #1”
So today, let me share my thoughts how to respond to the negativity because I got negative comment on my blog. ^^
Social media…hmm yeaah it can bring out the best in people and the worst in people. No matter what business you are in, you are going to face times where peoples will leave a negative comment on your social media platforms. If there is one thing I want you to know, it is that you are not alone. This happens to everyone who puts themselves out there on social media. Truth be told, you don’t have to react to negative comments as though a crisis is taking place. Instead, you can choose to see negative comments as something you can build upon.
I love blogging; it makes me so happy and has improved my life in so many ways. I love checking my WordPress feed throughout the day and get such a buzz every time I see a post from one of my favourite bloggers. I love leaving comments on posts, I’ve enjoyed reading and chatting to fellow bloggers. I work on my own blog posts pretty much every day and find it so exciting to get my ideas down and then spend hours editing them to make the blog post the best it can
However as much as I love blogging and everything that comes with it, I find it quite a hard world to be part of sometimes as quite often I find myself feeling incredibly insecure. My original idea for this post was a comical ‘ways I failure as a blogger’ type post, but I realised it was a bit too negative and actually I don’t fail as a blogger at all because I’m part of this world and posting regularly on my blog so how on earth can that be failing?! hahahaContinue reading “I’m Glad To Be A Small Blogger”
“When nobody celebrates you, learn to celebrate yourself. When nobody else compliments, then compliment yourself. It’s not up to other people to keep you encouraged. It’s up to you. Encouragement should come from the inside.” – Joel Osteen
Today I logged into my account and immediately saw that more than 211000 of you had already viewed my blog site!!! Keep enjoying the journey fellas!
I can not tell you how emotional and happy that made me feel. I am really stuck for words.
Three years ago I was someone who wanted to make other people feel happy, joyful and make them laugh. I know, because of this, know there is someone out there, maybe just one person sat there smiling at the screen there looking at my posts. I don’t even care if you are smiling or laughing at my atrocious spelling or my actual posts, it’s making a little bit of a difference. hahaha
The thing that inspired me to write this post was the fact that I would never have dreamed that I’d be where I am today. Back then I never used to do anything different each day, and I didn’t really have the confidence to do anything new. But then I realised that I needed to change. To be happy, sometimes you need to do some things that are out of your comfort zones. For me, it was blogging. I know it doesn’t sound like that big of a deal. However, after about 3 months I was happy, way happier than before and ever since then (about a year and a half ago) I’ve been getting happier with every day.
it’s easy to get sucked into a blogging rut. But, I wrote down everything that I love about blogging as a reminder to myself.
You learn a HUGE amount of skills without realising.
There are some incredibly talented people out there.
It’s amazing to watch your space grow and feel proud that it’s something you’ve built.
You get to discover things that you might not have found before.
It can be a place to escape when you’ve had a rubbish day. LOL!
You can be whoever you want to be online, more than likely you will find yourself being more honest than you’re in real life.
Everybody has a different blogging story and it’s interesting to hear them.
Today I’ll be writing a blog post about the things I love and hate about social media. This should be interesting.
I like how I can, with a click of a few buttons, message someone on the other side of the world without it taking days or years, depending on if they’re online and if your connection great, it’s almost instant. It’s scary how we’ve gone from waiting weeks and months on end for a reply to a letter of for your messenger to come back and now it’s instantaneous. Its amazing how much more power and control we have over things that back in the day they didn’t used to have.
I love how I connect with people like the way I can connect with my readers, I would spill my heart out and I’ve probably at least got someone out there reading my posts who understands the way I feel. I love the mysteriousness of being able to connect with people I’ve never met before without it putting me in an inch of danger. Especially as I can do this anonymously, could you have written something and put it up somewhere for everyone to see about your feelings and passions anonymously, 100 years ago? Probably not.
How’s life treating you lately? I hope you had fantastic day yeah? I’m so happy with getting back. Sorry for my sporadic blogging habits. I wrote this post while I didn’t feel much better, your comments helped to buoy my spirits a bit. I woke up on Wednesday morning in a pretty dark mood.
Tonight, when I’ve been out socializing for a while, I sometimes like to go home and be by myself because I am a human being who occasionally enjoys my privacy. I think this is an alarm for me to spend a little time to separate from the outside world, FYI, I currently very enjoyed spending my spare time ALONE. I can read books or anything else, because I am not a stultifying moron. It’s not a big deal.
