Hi there lovelies,
It has been a while since I have been in this space. These past few months have been a mishmash of all things crazy. Highs and lows and everything in between. I found myself feeling quite uninspired and literally wanting to take a nap until the year ends.
When I find myself feeling off-balance I always look for ways to get myself centered again because I am totally useless to those nearest and dearest to me when I am not functioning at my peak. Let’s face it none of us are. Life can just throw you some curve balls but you just have to take the hit and keep on moving.’ Continue reading
It is a busy busy world out there, and at times it feels like there’s just not enough hours in the day to conquer it all. A full time job, pregnancy, healthy eating, a social life, extracurricular activities, and we’re supposed to rest? How are we supposed to keep up????
I think finding balance in our day to day lives takes effort. Balance is hard, but it is doable. These are ways that I’ve found work for me when I juggle one billion things happening at once & I hope they work for you too! Continue reading
Today I just wanted to write about work and some essential down time. I absolutely love my job, but technically it falls under the ‘maintenance and assurance’ sector for the telecommunication company and well, we all know that means our busiest sector and I feel like I spend all my time at work but this means it’s even more important for me to make some time for myself.
I work at least 51 hours a week, so obviously for me, I will never find balance in terms of hours spent, but that’s a common problem, so for me it’s more about how I’m feeling and what makes me happy. I’m so lucky that I enjoy what I do, not everyone has that luxury, but having some time to unwind is key to keeping myself sane. Continue reading
In modern times the café for some people is also a place of work, either in solitude, or in a practice that is becoming more common in cities— co-working — where people, often independent, get together to work in the same space as others. There are various forms of co-working and co-working spaces, from dedicated spaces that can be rented by people wishing to co-work aligned to a particular industry, to more informal arrangements such as meet-ups for freelancers organized in cafés via social media.
For those that don’t know what co-working the simplest explanation might be…
“the use of an office or other working environment by people who are self-employed or working for different employers, typically so as to share equipment, ideas, and knowledge.” Continue reading

>.< Continue reading

My four y.o skating student is at this “adorable” stage (and when I say adorable I do mean EXTREMELY irritating part of her life), where after every statement I make she follows it with “Why?” And sure, it’s a phase she’s going through and most kids her age go through it, but I do admire her curiosity for life and as she continues to grow up, I would like her to continue to question the things around her and to not just accept something as is.
And if I want that for her – why don’t I do it as an adult? So, lately, I’ve started asking myself “why” for things that I “feel” like I need to do.
It’s no secret that I’m busy, as most of us are. I have a job. Between working, dinner, skating practice, finding time to workout, and getting ready for the following day – I don’t finally get to relax until 8-9pm. And by then, there are tons of other things I need to do: household chores, more work, and…oh – sleep! So, I decided to start asking myself WHY? Continue reading

A couple months ago, I challenged myself about making more time for ourselves and the activities we enjoy. I realized how our own happiness is essential if we want to adequately care for our spouse, our homes, our careers, etc. We can’t neglect our own needs, passions, hobbies, and favorite pastimes for too long; otherwise we’ll become tired, grumpy, cynical, and even physically ill.
Can anyone relate?
For examples, we can make more time for ourselves, do more of the things we enjoy, and (as a result) live happier, more fulfilling lives.
Shopping for an afternoon sounds like pure torture, going to a busy restaurant or coffee shop to pay 5 times more for something that I could make in the comfort of my own home just seems like a waste of time and money.
Yes, I realize how insane this might sound to some (many) of you; but the idea of going on a weekend retreat or a coffee date just to “get away” sounds insane to me. What do I want to “get away” from? I LOVE being home!
Why I rarely ever feel the need for traditional forms of “me time” (especially since I got married!)
What I realized is that I actually DO enjoy “me time”… but my “me time” is often spent on everyday tasks that so many others want to get away from. Continue reading
One of my favorite ever things is stationery. I like buying it, I like looking at it, I like arranging it nicely on my desk and taking pictures of it.
Pens, pencils, and papers- will I ever get enough?
It’s been a few years since I was at university so I don’t have a reason to buy stationery at this time of the year. However, I still love stationery and keep buying it anyway. For some reason, I love collecting notebooks even though most of them are left empty and unwritten. Some products are quite pricey but if you catch them on sale, they’re fairly reasonable.
I am a stationery addict because… Continue reading
Sebelumnya, mari kita bahas terlebih dahulu sebenarnya apa syh syarat mengajukan kartu kredit?

I know what my fellow bloggers/Facebook friends do, where they live, where they went on a holiday, what their last post/status was about but I don’t know the same about my neighbors. Funny, isn’t it?
Being a 90s kid, I understand that this was not the scenario a decade ago. Those days, neighbors were the closest group of people after one’s family. They were always a part of a family’s joy as well as sufferings. Those were the days of petty arguments followed by apologies and promises of everlasting friendship. Those were the days when kids were more interested in whats cooking in the house of the aunt who lives next door. In fact, probably most of our free time was spent in our neighbor’s house than our own, or in playing ‘catching cook’ with the society kids. Continue reading
